Pling ("the app") is developed by Johnny Fekete. This policy explains how the app handles your information — the short answer: it doesn't collect any.

None. Pling does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

• No account is required.
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking.
• No advertising or third-party SDKs.
• No data leaves your Mac.

▸ Data stored on your device

Pling stores your daily tally count, individual entries, settings, and achievements locally on your Mac, inside its macOS App Sandbox container. This data is only accessible to Pling and is removed when you uninstall the app.

We never read, transmit, or share this data.

▸ macOS permissions

Pling does not request access to your contacts, calendar, location, microphone, camera, or files. It registers a global hotkey through the sandbox-safe Carbon Event API — no Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission is required.

▸ Children's privacy

Pling does not knowingly collect any data, from children or adults. It is rated 4+.

▸ Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
